Sliding Glass Door
Sliding Glass Door
Our sliding glass door has become harder and harder to slide. Any advice on how to make it easier?

Re: Sliding Glass Door
Dan, ours is doing the same thing. I noticed that Sam had posted a "door fixing" link on http://www.pdq36.com. Although I haven't had a chance to look at it closely, it might give enough information for where to apply a lubricate or maybe replace a roller, etc.

Clean the bottom rails and spray them with a teflon spray.
The diagrams I had Sam post to pdq36.com show how to remove the door and where to seal for leaks.

Re: Sliding Glass Door
Our door too was getting hard to slide. Most of the screws were inaccessible behind the battery box rim and could not be removed. So I slid the door halfway open drilled a half inch hole in the channel in a spot where the two rollers could be accessed. One was jammed with dog hair and lint. I cleaned them both using tweezers and tooth picks. Sprayed both rollers with Super Lube and the doors slides easily again. See photos below. Ray
