Gasoline tank sending unit

Post by martincreek150 »

Our fuel gauge is reading erratically/erroneously. I'd like to replace the gasoline tank sending unit. I can't seem to locate a sending unit on the Internet that looks like/works like the damaged one. Can anyone recommend a gasoline tank sending unit to replace the factory original?

I am pretty sure I got mine here:

I recall measuring the existing sender length and they cut one for me.

This is the same company I bought mine from and it's great. It really gives you a good span from full to empty unlike he float type that stays full forever and then dives for empty.

We put one of these in Second Wind, never had a problem with it after.

Ordered a fuel guage, wiring harness, fuel level sender and "cut and calibrate" on the sender. Service was very good. Installation was straightforward (though I had an electrician do it, since he was on board for a different issue). I've attached a scan of the invoice from 12/07/2010.
