I am working with a marine fabricator to build an arch for my boat. Does anyone have any photos of their dingy setups to post to help us put something together? Would appreciate any and all suggestions as well as photos. We are planning to construct this with marine grade schedule 40 aluminum.
Thanks, Al

Hi Alan
I use an arch for dingy and solar, antennas etc. I probably won't be at the boat until next wee #) May, but sill send them then. Sam the Skull in next to me so I'll get pics of his too.

Here is an okay view of mine. The arch was actually slightly off and did not set back far enough. The fabricator added short extensions off the rear for the rings that the blocks connect to.
Hope this is useful.

Hi Alan, you've probably seen the factory bench/dinghy davit, we added an aluminum support that holds 2-135 watt Kyocera solar panels.

Re: Dinghy/Solar pane larch
Alan, one thing I didn't have done to my arch was to have large openings in the feet for cable routing.
I spent a lot of time and effort doing this once it was installed. I'd recommend that you the have the largest opening feasible put in each foot.
