Standing rigging replacement

I recently read that standing rigging on catamarans should be routinely replaced after not more than twenty years. I understand that condition issues could be reason to replace standing rigging earlier. I'm interesting in learning about standing rigging replacements from Forum members. What conditions led to the need to replace standing rigging? Has anyone replaced some or all of their standing rigging as a precautionary measure or as a routine maintenance function?

I have the standing rigging off a PDQ 36 for sale. I replaced all my rigging with Dyneema. Well it's not done yet. Should be competed by April.Will post pictures online when it's done.

How old is your rigging and where are you
