Cockpit Speakers - 36

I am thinking of adding cockpit speakers to my 36. Was considering flush
mounting into the back cockit one on each side of the locker, above the
scuppers. If I do, I will protect them from behind so that the are not damaged
by the stuff in the locker

I'd like to know where everyone else has put their speakers before I cut some
great big holes in my boat

Jeff : We have two BOSE outdoor speakers in enclosures in those lockers. Appears
to be no problem. (I think the BOSE units come with enclosures)
