Can anyone provide photos of 10ft + Dinghy on the davits of a PDQ 36 ?

...not a 36 but here are photos of a 10 ft + on a 32.

This dink is supposed to be 10'4" but actually measures 10'7" so it extends over the sugar scoops.

I hope this helps.

So how does that work? Hoist the bow first?

Thanks for the photos - it helps to see it done.
I am not too worried about a little overlap on the scoops.

You have backstays one the 36 to work around...

r.e. 'how does that work"

I lift the stern first, about a foot at a time and "help" the near tube over the sugar scoop with my hands until it is high enough (pull line, then lift tube, repeat). Then I go lift the bow in the same fashion. ...easier to do than describe. I did install lift points very low on the inner transom with a pretty tight wire rope bridle to get a higher vertical lift.

Thanks.

I'm note sure that sounds worth it for an extra foot or so, weight and all, so I think I'll go with a short dinghy again. Yup, it really helps to get them high in bad weather.
