When in chartplotter mode, I had been unable to zoom into the lower (more detailed) chart ranges on the FB L1260DRC radar/chartplotter/sonar display as were available on the salon RL70CRC display until I discovered that – in Chart Setup - the display has to be configured to “Plotter OFF”. I don’t pretend to understand the logic. Maybe this setting is old hat to many, but it brought a whole new set of confidence to this gunk hole navigator.
