My stainless steel hatch vent on the STBD bow locker failed. The base plastic broke allowing the SS cover to come loose. It is made by Beckson ..part No. C-6SS. I contacted Beckson and received the following reply...
"The housing and base of our C-6 ventomate is made of relatively inexpensive
plastic and deteriorates over time. Good thing you saved the SS cover! The
replacement vent C-6D at USD $27.25 each - plus shipping - includes
everything for the replacement EXCEPT the SS cover. We have them in stock
and can ship UPS or USPS against most major credit cards.

A new one with the SS cover costs $53.50
If you have this hatch installed, you might want to check it. Mine was new in May 2007.
