Aft deck bimini

Post by jbrad »

We are thinking of adding an aft deck bimini to Mr. Busy and trying to find and settle on a design. From the pictures of those that have done so, it appears that there are varied designs used on the PDQ 34s. What do you like about yours, what would you change if you were to do it again? Suggestions welcome.

Thanks,

We had ours installed last year in Stuart. Coastal Metal Works for the frame and G & G Canvas for the fabric. Both companies did fine work, and have built quite a few for the MV34. One thing I would change is have a bit more arch built in, in tends to hold a little water near the corners.
It makes quite a difference in livability out back, we love it. I also had some "hoops" added above the bimini for future solar panels, as suggested by Dick Tuschick.
