Does anyone know what the “flybridge supply” breaker on the 12v electrical panel is for? It does not control the 12v outlet or the 110v outlet on the flybridge.

If our flybridge supply breaker is not on, we get no power to the chartplotter. I used to turn it on and off, but forgot it too many times, so now I just leave it on.

Our flybridge supply breaker turns on all DC power to the flybridge. The AC outlet on our flybridge has an AC breaker on the panel.

Thanks. I assumed it supplied power to the flybridge chart plotter, but I left it OFF yesterday while underway and the chart plotter worked perfectly. So far, I don't see any impact from turning it off. I'll have to trace it.

Mac

On mine the flybridge supply works all the instruments including the chart plotter and the Yanmar instrument clusters. Electric outlets are not affected.

I am baffled by this... I have confirmed that the "Flybridge Supply" breaker does not supply power to anything... at least nothing that I can find. Everything on our flybridge (and elsewhere) works fine with this breaker OFF. Bit of a mystery...
