Yanmar fuel economy

Post by AMCarter3 »

Can someone direct me to the fuel economy data collected for our 100 HP Yanmar engines by someone on this list several years ago? I seem to have lost the link.

I have the 75 hp engines, but here are my two cents. We came from Staniel Cay in the Exumas to Bimini, 197 miles on 51 gallons of diesel. No tricks, both engines running, averaging 6.5 knots. Two rough, by a lot, to plane. Also the boat handles well going off the wind in six foot following seas.

Cheers
