Mini Raw water stream?
Mini Raw water stream?
Can someone explain the purpose of the tiny port on the hull beside each engine that spouts a tiny stream of raw water when the engine starts up? It seems to run for a bit and then stops.

Re: Mini Raw water stream?
Part of siphon break. Engine stops air enters and suction stops. Should have stream with engines running.

Thanks John! Dick Tuschick also sent me this via email:
That is part of an anti siphon valve and should always be “peeing” when the engine is running over 2000 rpm it is critical that this vent never gets clogged as your engine could “drown” as it sits below the waterline.
