Hydraulic steering bleeding - possible manual mistake?

I have a 2005 34. I am replacing a steering cylinder. I have read the previous posts on the subject but have an additional comment or question.
Going through the PDQ manual bleeding method, one thing doesn't seem right. When bleeding outlet #1 the manual instructs user to turn wheel CLOCKWISE. And when bleeding outlets #2, 3, & 4, to turn the wheel COUNTERCLOCKWISE. I realize that we have a different setup than standard, but comparing to how Seastar bleeds cylinders, This seems backwards ( 1 should be counterclockwise and 2,3, & 4 should be clockwise.)
Anyone ever noticed this? Or have experience with this? Or am I completely off?
