Fuel transfer pump

My fuel transfer pump stopped working. I removed it and tested it. The odd looking fittings on each outlet stumped me. The wiring goes to these fittings. One seems to have gone bad. When I wire 12v past the fitting the pump works. Does anybody know what these fittings do?
I will attempt to replace, but it is hard when I don’t know what it’s function is. Thanks.

If my not so photographic memory is accurate, I believe they are pressure switches. Probably designed to shut down the pump if the line is blocked( or valve not opened). If both valves are open and lines are clear, you could easily have a bad switch.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, you are correct. I removed the pump and went to the marine supply. Myself, the counterman and one very knowledgeable fellow customer solved the mystery. It seems they protect the pump if the breaker is thrown before opening the valves.
