Trampolines

Has anyone found an easy method of tightnening the line between the two halves
of the tramp? And has anyone found a good (read:easy) cleaner for the netting?
We've been using Collonite fibreglass cleaner which does a decent job, but
requires a lot of elbow grease.
Also, does anyone know how long the tramps last? Are they reinforced? I'd hate
to wait till someone put a foot through it

Aside to Kevin Smith: Really appreciate this website for the exchange of info

I am using a product called Gel Gloss that cleans stainless and fiber glass. The
good news is that it is a hardware item and is not Marine Priced. I have not
tried it on the tramp but I bet it would work there also. I just did my life
lines and it is the easy product to use. Just wipe it on (work it a little) and
wipe it off. The job it does on stainless is unbelievable

On your tramp tension. I was told that they should not be "tight". Constant
tension pulls the thread out of the webbing around the side or the grommets
start pulling out. Mine has a slight sag in it but once you put your weight on
it you are fine

As for longevity, I plan to take mine in this year and have a single new stitch
run all the way around it before we leave for the Bahamas. Ours is 4 years old
and has been used a lot

Hope this helps,
