I have stored my PDQ 32 every winter since 1995. No stress problems have
occured. Followed the instructions in the owners manual. If you need a picture
of them let me know. Instead of building the frame, I used basement brace posts
(since they are extendable, adjustable and cheap) for the braces and put them
under a carpeted 2x6 just like Kevin explained

The brace in front is 12 inches back from start of the 'non skid surface' and
the back brace is right at the spot where non-skid and smooth surface starts

Jackstands would also do the trick just fine, but I would spread out the load by
using the 2x6,

I built the stands for last winter, and had to strap additional stiffeners to
the legs because they bowed under the weight. I was using treated pine that was
not as dry as it should have been

This winter I'm on keel blocks with stands under the hulls fore and aft, because
the yard manager thought that was the way to do it. He SAYS he called the
factory for confirmation.

Hi Jack - When I stored my 32 in Florida I was worried about the hollow keels so
I added two jackstands, fore and aft in the center with 4x4's on them. I then
screwed them up tight to take the bulk of the weight. I also added jack stands
at each bow and stern to distribute the weight even more evenly. It might have
been excessive but it seemed to work out well, I would do the same again. Roger

Hi, I have Phenix, 32007 and I store on the hard all winter. You should have a
little more support than just under the keels. The owners manual had a diagram
as to where to put the support under the bridgedeck. If you don't have the
stands they recommend, you can use jackstands in the fore and aft locations
where they recommend the stands. I use 2 jackstands fore under the bridgedeck
(with a carpeted 2x6 against the hull to cushion and distribute weight) and the
same aft
