Has any one installed radar on their 32's and did you install yourself? What
type of radar and location did you use?

Ok I found my sources again

The first thing you need is an angled mount, look under rails or hand rails in
the west cataloge. I think I used a 30 degree angle. I then made a wedge out of
starboard to make my tube go straight up in the air. By though bolting it, it
became very sturdy

Next go to Overtons.com on the web. Click boating, bimini tops, hardware&
acesories, mounting hardware and then page down to stainless. I used a rail
mount 25591, and 2 outside eye ends 32451, a jaw slide 25590
I am not sure about finding a radar base that will accept a 7/8 or 1 inch
rail??? I was only mounting a tv antenea when I did mine

So starting from the bottom, you get the starboard to give you the angle you
need. Slip on an jaw slide. Bring it up to the height of your stern rail. Put an
outside eye end on that. Put the rail mount on your stern rail. Put an outside
eye end on that. Now you cut a piece of rail to fit between the two outside eye
ends and tighten everything up. With the additional weight of the radar, you
might want to add a single side suport or make two lines that you can easily put
on whenever you go out in rough weather

Hope this is usefull

My Phenix (32007) has a radar, I installed it last year. You can do a search on

You can email me or post here for specifig questions
