Having never had a boat before with an outhaul I have 2 questions:[/i]
1) Any tips on using it? I have read about the theory -- I am wondering what
your experience suggests is best. Do you slacken it, say, under 10 knots and
tighten it over that? Or do you normally just leave it alone? Does it make
enough difference to justify the hassle?
2) How do you have it rigged? Do you lead the line back to the cockpit or go up
to the mast to adjust it?
