Refrigerator door gasket

Post by phild »

Has anyone found a source for a replacement gasket for the door on the upright fridge? Ours is starting fall apart. We are hull #94 (36094).

Phil, did you ever find a source for the gaskets?

Does anyone know the make of our refrigerator boxes? Our gaskets need replacing because they are "deformed" and not sealing perfectly.

Our refrigerator boxes on Second Wind were from molds at PDQ. The upright models are probably the same. Sounds like a call to PDQ may be in order.

May want to also try shopping McMaster Carr:

I get all of my seals from them, as well as a lot of other stuff.

Thanks! I'll try both of those sources and let everyone know the results.

Anyone have an update on what mfg'r, part no., etc. ultimately worked for the upright refrig door seals on the PDQ 36?
Thanks,
