Replacment Trampoline & Sails from original

Hi All
Triton Sails built the original sails and trampolines for the PDQ's.
I recently took my trampoline in for a little service and Ron the owner,
a very laid back fellow, was very helpful. I was asking him about replacements
and he gave me a quote so I thought I would pass the info on.
Considering the exchange rate, this may be a good opportunity for our sailing friends
to the south to take advantage of the favourable exchange rate.
The following is for a PDQ Altair 32:
Trampoline CDN$950 Main CDN$4,000 Jib CDN$2,000
These quotes are in Canadian currency, so our American sailing friends
get about 25% off.
Ron has the patterns for the 36 as well.
You can reach Ron at his loft in Mississauga at
Phone:(905) 891-8166

I wish you'd posted this about two weeks earlier, I just received new tramps for my 32, from Sunrise. It was a little pricier, but folks who bought tramps through Sunrise have spoken highly of the quality. I haven't put the new ones on yet so I can't report.

The guy at Triton should put a page on his website noting he makes tramps and list the boats. I searched the web for suppliers and his business did not pop up.

Ron from Triton is a nice guy, but he's slow. Took him 6 months to make me an asymmetrical spin. Also, communication was very poor. On the other hand, I've used Sunrise 4 times ( 2 Hobies, 2 PDQ's) and never had a bad experience. I think you made the right move.
