Surveyor recommendation

Looking at a PDQ in Florida and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a surveyor. We have contacted two so far, John Bannister of Suenos Azules, and Jonathan Sands of Atlantic Marine. Has anyone had experience with either of these two or any others?

Where in Florida? It is a rather large state.

We used Gary Frankovich with Accurate Marine Surveys Inc. He did a pre-purchase survey for us back in October and we were very impressed. Gary is friendly and knowledgeable. He is also very thorough, we had an in/out of water survey plus sea trail which took 10 hours. He has also surveyed many PDQs.
He is out of Jacksonville and according to his website there may be an additional charge outside of 85 miles.

I would recommend that you find one on the BOAT US list:

They list competent surveyors since they also insure boats.
