... sometimes the water goes away. A strong North wind can such the water right out of the Chesapeake Bay (this tide is about 4 feet below normal). Thank goodness for strong boats that take the ground well.

Wow! Although judgeing from the white stuff all around you, your latitude is off by a few degrees. You’re supposed to sail south until the butter melts. ;)
