Dinghy

It's time to for us to purchase a dinghy. Has anyone had a experience with the Walker bay with the inflatable tubes?

Dinghy

Hello Tom,

I checked out Walker Bay dinghies but was not too impressed, they seemed a bit heavy and rated for low HP motors. HOWEVER, they've just introduced a new line of "Genesis Light Boats" which looks very promising. You can check them out at: http://www.walkerbaygenesis.com/ .

Also, on my website, I've put together a table of possible dinghy candidates for the 34 powercat which I'm assuming might be applicable to your situation. You can find that at: http://www.geocities.com/snodoglog/Dinghies.html
Perhaps I should update my table to include the Genesis dinghies, I just heard about them a few days ago - they look very good, and are very lightweight!

Finally, there are some comments about dinghies here in the "34 Powercat Forum" which you might find useful, but I don't recall anything specifically about Walker Bay.

Happy hunting,
Henry
