oil pressure lights
My engines have several problems but when they're running at speed they stay running. Both of the oil pressure lights are out though. I pulled one out to change the bulb and found it not that simple. Has anybody found a reasonable way to change these out? I looked at boats.net but $30.00 each for what equates to a light bulb seems a little much.

Re: oil pressure lights
I thought you just installed two new engines with electric tilt.
Problems already?

Re: oil pressure lights
Wrong Tom. The other Tom and his wife Amy did buy new engines. I (also named Tom and my wife's name is also Amy) can't afford new engines right now.
Small world huh?

Re: oil pressure lights
To repair my faulty oil pressure, light, it was off, I removed the wire from the sending unit on the engine, cleaned the corrosion and wala, the light glows strong. The sending unit is in the space surounded by the thermastat, the carb and under the fly wheel. The black ruberboot will come off gently, it is very thin. My 9.9s are 1998.
