If you mean while in the water, the answere is no. I think you would drowned it

However, while out of the water I have done it and it is pretty simple. Just
lift up high enough to clear the clamping screws, pull back and lower it out. I
did it with one guy on top holding the weight of the engine with a rope and the
cover was off to add clearance. I guess you could also do it if you had the boat
beached at low tide

Did you see the earlier notes about using the three bolts that are supplied with
the engine, attaaching to the fly wheel and pulling it out fro the top?
