Spark plug / strainer / drain plug wrench - I need one

Post by Phenix-former-owner »

My Yamaha 9.9s came with a "wrench" that was sized on one end to remove the spark plugs and on the other end to remove the drain plug and strainer. I have lost mine somehow and I'd really like to get a replacement. Does anyone know where I can get this, or anyone have an extra one I can buy or, at worst case, tell me what the exact sizes are for each of these ends? Thanks.

Not exactly. The ones I had were just the piece that looks like the left side of the pic, but had a couple of holes in it that you could insert a screwdriver to get leverage to turn it. With that tool, are you able to change the plugs and oil strainer with the engines in the well?
