Chesapeake Yamaha mechanic?

My boat is docked at Kent Island- can anyone recommend a good Yamaha mechanic in
the area for maintenance work on the 9.9s? Thanks.

Call Jim Reinohle at Gates marine in Deale, (410)867-9666. Scott is an
experienced factory trained Yamaha guy, who does good work. They were very
reasonable. Remember you will be paying shop rates for them to drive across the
bridge, so you might want to keep looking unless you can bring it over to on of
the local marinas. Unfortunately Gates is beyond a low bridge.

Most of these guys want you to bring the engines to them. Last year I used
Onsite Marine (in the Annapolis Port Book) but he is very sick(Leukemia) and can
only work a few days each week. I just got a lead to Jimmy at Gates Marine in
Deale, who promised to diagnose and service my engines before this weekend. I
will post a verdict after I get back in the water. His number is 410.867.9666

He hired several new mechanics over the winter, including a Yamaha trained guy
with all the special tools. Stay tuned! (pun noted)
