Pulling the #%$@ Dipstick

Post by NautiBits »

Somebody has a gadget that makes the dipstick pulling not an injurious affair!!! Who is it??

I know, who pulls the dipstick??

For those of you that do check the oil religiously (or secularly, if you prefer), snatching it out of its hidey hole can be a knuckle buster and/or a nail bender, unless you've got Little Chuckie hands.

Out with it then!! What do you use?!?

Unfortunately I use busted up knuckles.

Actually getting it out isn't the problem, it's finding the hole to get it back in (I know, there's a bad joke waiting to be said).

Tom,

We've got to find an air force alum. He/she will have such a tool. No busted knuckles for those guys 8)

Did you notice I've got Louise purring like a kitten again?

Six hour cruise yesterday...got boarded by the Coasties..nice visit...they gave me a brand spanking new 'no dumping' sticker...

Fair winds!

That's great news on the engine. I was fearing the worst.

Personally I'm getting sick of patching them up again and again and again...

But with the budget the way it is, I'm stuck for now.
