Has anyone re-powered with the Honda BF15 Fourstrokes? They look like an
interesting alternative to the Yamaha T9.9 with 25"shaft, 12amp alternators, and
power tilt.

Thanks for the info on the Honda

I wonder if a Yamaha 9.9 lower unit (25") could be fitted to a Yamaha 15 to give
similar performance? I realize it would have to be re-propped

Chet;
By the way, I purchased the 27" (X) shaft and it never cavitates even when you
at motoring into 4-5' chop. The Yamahas had a problem with cavitation in that
kind of chop.
