I asked Roger Pollard about some details on the engine replacement, he provided
the following and agreed to let me post it here (thanks!!!):[/i]

Let me first say that I own Oceania hull # 9 the last 34 off the line. I
purchased her in 1995 and converted her to a 36 in 1997

In regards to mounting the BF 15 Hondas:[/i]

Due to the width of the motors the opening of the motor well is too narrow to
lower the motor into the well from the top. To install the motors the nacelle
had to be unbolted and dropped. I then lifted the motors into the well and while
they were hanging from the block and tackle, I reinstalled the nacelle. The
motors were then lowered onto the transom of the nacelles

If there is a problem that requires the motor to be removed, it has to come out
the same way

If you have a 32 there is no problem because the lid for the motor well is two
sided. the entire front and top opens. On Oceania only the top opens

In regards to the maintenance:[/i]

The oil filter is mounted below the power head on the starboard side of the
motor. There is a cover that is secured by four small screws that has to be
removed to access the filter. If you are hauled, there is no problem to change
the filter. In the water, it is an extreme challenge not to drop any of the
screws. When just a oil change is needed there is no problem

That said I would buy them again. They run great. They are economical on fuel
and the extra power is welcome

Since I installed the motors and have performed the maintenance, I cannot
comment on the cost.
