reply sort order

hi all,
does anyone know if it is possible to have most recent reply appear first rather than at the bottom? if so, what is the trick?

If you schroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see an option to:
"Display posts from previous" and if you go to the second drop-down menu, select "Newest First" and click on "Go" - That will resort the post to show you the latest post in the string.

unfortunately the option is at the forum level so you have to select it for each forum you enter AND it's not persistent.
