We will be in Pelican Bay New Years eve with the PGI Islanders. Perhaps the PDQ'rs can stop too and we can all visit.

Hello
Jean and I are from the UK, and currently own a 24 foot Solaris Sunbeam Catamaran, berthed in Portsmouth Harbour, on the south coast of England in the Solent, the most popular cruising ground in the UK.

We have a plan to purchase a cat in Florida, probably on the Gulf Coast side but very open to suggestions, and cruise in the UK winter months (Nov-April) around the coast of Florida, with hopefully future longer trips to the Caribbean islands in due course.

We are visiting the Sarasota area next month, and would really appreciate linking up with any owners of PDQ 32's or PDQ 36's in the Gulf Coast area, who would be happy to educate us on their own experiences of these cats.

We are keen to stick to a cat with outboard propulsion rather than twin diesel inboards for easier and lower cost maintenance and simplicity, so that is why we are tryimg to home in on the PDQ 32 or PDQ 36, which could also provide sufficient accommodation to live on board for weeks at a time.

Our email address for direct contact is simon.stell@btinternet.com if it is easier to communicate via this route.

Many thanks in advance for any assisitance you can give us.

Regards Simon and Jean

Several 32s and 36s in the Punta Gorda area, including ours. Would love to talk more. Also check www.pdq36.com for both 32s and 36s for sale.

Hello Sam

That is very kind of you to reply so quickly.

Would love to meet up if possible and understand better what the PDQ's can offer, in terms of sailing performance and liveaboard capability..

We will have an opportunity to drive down to Punta Gorda area the early part of the final week of October say 31st Oct/1st Nov, and also around 8th/9th November, in between work commitments.

If any of these dates suit, we would be delighted to meet.

In the meantime will look at the website you indicated and look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Best Wishes

Simon and Jean

Any chance you are available 10/11/12 Nov? I have a big music festival here in town that you may be interested in. We would talk boats and also introduce you to some of our friends and musicians!

Hi Sam and Gina
We fly back to London from Tampa early evening of the Friday 10th Nov, but could maybe manage the morning of the 10th?

If we had known we would have extended our stay to take in the music festival! I am a country and folk musician too..!

Regards
