new owner making trip thru Erie Canal to home

My husband and I will be taking delivery of our new PDQ32 in May and will be
making the trip home to Massachusetts. My husband is very calm about the trip
but, I am a little nervous. Would like any advice from any other women who have
made this trip. Any hints or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Check out my comments on 4/17/00 - "Notes on the Erie Canal delivery". A few of
the sentiments are from my wife - especially the one about two boathooks. We had
ony one, which I usurped since I had to run from the helm to grab a rope. She
had to fend off the wall with a short handle mop! Don't worry about the trip -
in retrospect it was pretty easy
