Need names of marinas that have berths for PDQ 36 on a long term (not transient)
basis
near Solomons Island, MD.

I have emailed you a long list of Marinas on the Chesapeake Bay, but I haven't
checked with many of them. I just got a slip at Herrington Harbor North, a FULL
service marina with a new travel lift big enough for a 36. There's a West Marine
Store there, to whom I just forward my paycheck. It is close to Deale, MD. I
found a couple other possibilities in smaller Marinas, but you just have to call
or visit each one. I you have a military ID you should check with Navy Patuxent
River, which was the site of a major seaplane base. Their ramp is bigger than
some lakes I've sailed on.

About 50 miles north of Solomons on the South River (near Annapolis) is a great
marina (really just long term dockage) that caters to Cats! It's run by some
very nice people at Voyage Yachts. There are no real fancy facilities (there is
a clean shower and head) but the place is extremely well protected, not too
expensive, and they will watch your boat for you. If's that's not to far north
for you - and you need more info, let me know. Roger Wood

Thanks Roger

Will definitely want to take a look at this one

Any more information you have will be appreciated

We plan to leave Melbourne, FL in week or ten days
and sail her up to the Bay area for the summer. We are
finding at most marinas either there is no, or very limited
dockage for cats.. or the marinas charge for two slips
