PDQ Chesapeake Raft-up (or just meet-up)

Last October we had a fine shore side cook-out near Annapolis. How about something on the water this summer, before schools go back in? I sail out of Deale, MD.

The Wye River is nice.

Sounds cool. We should be near there then (I think).

Let me know what works for you. August is more open than July for us. West River, Rhode Rover, Fishing Creek, St Michaels, Annapolis, White Hall Bay... We are open...

We're all power cats when the wind dies.

Yet another MV 34 that would enjoy rubbing elbows with fellow PDQ'rs on the Bay. Still have a couple of open dates in August. Anchor, raft or marina is all good. Regards, Sandy K MV MISHIGAS

Every actual event starts with a firm date. How about August 7-8 in the Rhode River (just south of Annapolis on the western shore of the Chesapeake), back where the islands are? Alternativly, we could get there on Friday night so that there would still be weekend left.

Count us in. We are free the weekend and only a few miles North on Fishing Creek. Both Friday or Saturday nights work for us.

Now that I checked with the boss, the 14/15th or 28/29th are better for us. So is most of September. Could we select the 14/15th?

Shucks! it appears that we won't be able to make it since we're planning to drive to the SSCA's Annapolis GAM in late September and can't justify two trips so close together. Last year's cook-out was great fun. Thanks again, Eric and Bonnie!

If anyone else is planning to attend the GAM, let us know. Margaret and I love to meet up with any PDQers who are in the area.

We will be at the GAM as well. The Fishing creek house (and PDQ on the mooring ball) are only 10 miles north of the GAM location. We also plan on having something at the house again for the October boat show. Probably one night during the sailboat show dates, but not sure yet. We dug out PDQ items from the shed and have the table parts if you would still like them. Sorry for the 11 month delay.

I misread the initial post. I am pretty sure we WON'T be there before school is in. I am quite sure that we will be there in September though so those other events sound pretty cool.

If I'm in Maryland, I'll be there!
