Bahamas Bound

Post by Allezcat »

To the PDQers headed for Georgetown this year a couple things come to mind.

Garmin now has incorporated the "Explorer Charts" on its chart software (Bluecharts) for the Bahamas. I find these charts very useful. The paper versions are available at most marine stores or http://www.explorer.com

Plan to have $300 cash available at check-in to the Bahamas unless you can convince them your boat is 35ft or less.

Sharon & Larry have a wonderful check list on this forum under Welcome to the PDQ Forum - Leadfree.

Hope to see you all in Georgetown.

PS - Harvey Griggs is considering racing his boat this year in Georgetown.
You heard it right here on the forum
