I need to get new chain, 5/16, GR 40, hot dip galvanized. Located in Titusville. And don't want to pay West prices

I also need to replace chain on Allezcat. I use 5/16 hi-tensile G4.
Defender sells 5/16 G4 Acco for $2.84/ft or $689.00 for a half drum (275')
How much do you need?

If you're willing to drive to Ft. Lauderdale, Sailorman has 5/16 G4 for about half the price of West Marine. They are located close to the airport, so I know it's a hike, but I'll give you directions if interested.

Don, I checked at Surplus Unlimited in Daytona Beach, they have nothing for anchoring.
If you do a bulk buy with Chet or someone else let me know , as I'm lookin for somewhere between 100 and 120 feet of 5/16 HT

Since Sailorman carries new & used items, I suggest calling them before you head down to check on availability, price & quality. It was 1 year ago when I found the chain, but give us an update if they still carry it and the price.

An outfit I have used with satisfaction is NEW RIVER NETS (newrivernets.com). They are listing SS 5/16 chain for $2.55/ft. I don't know the specs, but you can call for info. 910 327-1231. Their rope specials are very attractive. Apparently, they cater to the commercial fishing trade, a group not fond of wasting money on boat materials.
