keeping birds off boat while on mooring

We are the owners of "Knotty Cat" PDQ32 Hull#48 and she is moored just off of
Plum Island in Massachusetts. We are having a terrilbe time with the birds
making a mess all over the boat. Does anyone have a solution, we have tried
those balloons that have owl eyes but, they do not work. As we are not on a
slip, we are having to deal with an awful mess all the time

Would appreciate any help or suggestions.

You might like to look look at the 'Jumpo'. Highly recommended by several people
on the 'Multihulls' list, and favorably reported on by 'Practical Sailor'

Here's a link:[/i]

You can also find it, together with many other items of similar purpose, at:[/i]

Hope this helps.

Our marinia invisted in a recorded "message" that sounds like a sea gull being
strangled in several sea gull languages. IT WORKS. It cost a couple hundred 5
years ago and of course uses up some power. If you are interested, I can get you
some info.
