All,

Does anyone know off the top of their head what error code "4001" means on the autopilot readout? We'll be sailing along and suddenly for seemingly no real reason, the auto pilot beeps once and then displays the "4001" message. If I press "Auto" again, it comes right back online and continues on it's way. Any ideas?

Don't know for sure if its low battery or lost connection to compass. But it may actually be a bad connection/corroded connector. We had an error like that (cant remember the code) and it was actually a wire that came loose behind the display. Hope that helps.
