Has anyone come up with an easier way of doing this (sanding), other than paying to have it done?

2-season soft paint, used to completion each cycle. A few scrubs with berber carpet squares and a plastic scraper in spots. In this manner, you can go 20 years without build-up. Let it wear down to underlying paint. I've done it.

Oh well. I was hoping to hear about using a paint remover like PeelAway. I guess it's not as easy as they make it sound. I have aout 15 layers to remove. UGH!

I had that much or more bottom paint removed by a soda-blaster. I then rolled on 6 thin coats of InterProtect® 2000E Barrier Coat System and two coats of ablative bottom paint. That added 10 knots to our cruise speed, I estimate.*
