Bifold Doors save Cabin Space

Rob's article on replacing the head reminded me of something we did on PDQ 36 Wind Seeker to save space. It had two doors that swung out into the interior of the main cabin and had to be closed to access cabinets behind them. I made those full size doors into bifold doors and swung them into each respective cabin. The head door was a real pain in the... and just reversing the swing made head use worse. The transformation was simple enough to do. I ripped them in half on a table saw, installed piano hinges (matched the saw kerf exactly), reversed the jams and latches and they do not encumber access to either space.
