water tank leaks

hello everybody
Just took delivery of my "new" 1987 mini, very hot little car with all the toys

I love to fool around with these cars there so simple and easy to work on, which
is a good thing as they frequently need working on

With regard the leaking water tank, make sure that the water is actually coming
from the tank and not other sources. One particularily is the condensate from
the air conditioning system, sometimes the drain can be blocked and overflow
onto the bridgedeck. For
acces to more of the water system one can remove the back of the linen closet to
see the ned of the tank more clearly

As for rig tensioning requirements. Maybe 'seat of the pants' is not an
appropriate approach for those with less experince than I have. I would welcome
the opportunity to study the rig tuning information that other manufacturers
suggest in there owners manuals. Does anybody know where I could peruse said
manuals. A cursory search ont he web yielded the netire corsair tri manual with
very little about rig tuning. All other references were by high performance
sailmakers ensuring that the farr 40's, and others, that they are making sails
for, have optimally performing rigs. Even these are laced with terms like 'hand
tight'. Who's hand I ask?
That should do for now, off to change some front wheel bearings, thank goodness
they give me proper torque settings
