Insurance for Baltic Adventure

Post by Watermelon »

I've had computer and internet problems recently, so this is a bit late.

I just received our insurance binder for this year, and adding "coastwise waters of Europe" was done with no increase in our insurance premium for the year.

This does not cover transport to Europe - does anybody have a better deal?

Watermelon is insured with Markel American Insurance Company through International Marine Insurance Services (IMIS).

We went cruising for a few years.
After 20 years we are STILL "cruising for a few years".

Hi Jeanne,

You don't need to worry about transport insurance - that is covered by Pantaenius through Sevenstar Yacht transport.

I hope that helps.
