Non-PDQ boat for sale

Post by amytom »

Now that we have our PDQ we are selling our old boat. If anyone knows somebody looking for a trailerable shallow draft let them know.

It's a 1998 MacGregor 26X. Has lots of new extras including new trailer, assym spinnaker, genoa, chartplotter, pressure water w/ rear shower, etc...

This is the motor sailer that can pull a water skier (that's what they say at least) I've seen 14 knots under power and I've sailed in 12 inches of water. I've even camped out over night with all 6 of my kids.

We're asking $17K.

Don't curse me that way!!! 5 teenagers and 1 princess is more than enough. In fact I might be willing to sell the kids too.

Do any of them do bottom paint? Hull buffing? bilge scrubbing? Advanced television remote control programming?

Let's see, my oldest is into Goth so if you want the hull painted black he might. TV programming they are all better at than most adults but the rest of it sounds too much like work. Did I mention they all come with an extra set of attitude and bad report cards?

 I'm going to curl up in my quiet little house and count my lack of blessings.
