Hydraulic steering
I just replaced the starboard side hydraulic steering ram on my boat and am having trouble bleeding the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi,
are you following the directions from seastar? what are the symptoms?
aside from following seastars directions, i've found that suspending a bottle of fluid to the upper helm and working the wheel to hard over until the relief valve opens will get a lot of air out. repeat in the other direction. after a few iterations of this let the system set and air bubbles will concentrate into big bubbles which are easier to get out.
