HELP NEEDED with Gel Coat
Friends, I clipped a dock and need to repair a crack in the gel coat of my 1991 Capella. Cracked the gel coat 8 inches up the bow stem. There are a few other areas that ought to be done as well, both mine and past owners. It is standard white, if there is such a thing for PDQs. Anyone know if there is an off the shelf match for the shade of white? Have dremeled out the cracked gel coat and built up the deep bit bit with epoxy (yes I know it needs to be completely cured as in days and washed then rough sanded to be gel coated). Also made a mold of the other bow stem to facilitated the gel coating. If anyone is interested, I can share my mold making technique. Your experience would be appreciated. Thanks, Marc

Re: HELP NEEDED with Gel Coat
Our PDQ was painted, not gel coated.

My 36 seems to be gel coated from the factory.
