Umbrella Insurance

For the people that live full time on their boat and don't have a car or a house, what do you do for umbrella insurance? From what I understand Umbrella insurance kicks in when boat/home/car insurance coverage isn't enough but my boat insurer stated I need to own a home and have it insured as a requirement for an umbrella policy.
