New Idiot... I mean Owner

Well, now I've done it... jumped ship from a mono (plug) Pearson 37 racer/cruiser for sale! Just sailed/motored in the Baja ha ha 2023, now in Cortez.

Anyway, howdy all. New owner of a 1989, 36, #3 soon to be "AVA"
She's in the yard (dry) and will need the F/G rudder post reinforcement. While in the holes, we'll make sure the backstay bolts are tidy.
Not sure about the babystay bulkhead yet (surveyor didn't say anything about it).
Thoughts, advice, suggestions appreciated.

The boat is two days away and I'm still workin but planning a trip soon, to tidy her up and get work started.
