Both my brothers have boats with lavac heads. They praise them relentlessly. I'd be interested in hearing from those of you who have lavacs, especially if you did a conversion.

Hi Alex, We have an electric Lavac on our '93 boat that came with it when we bought it in '97. It has been the most trouble free piece of equipment on board. The installation seems to have been designed by PDQ, rather than the Lavac suggested installation. Most of the plumbing is with standard parts. The only problem I've ever had was a clogged choker
valve, which was easily cleaned out. I've had clogs when visitors threw things in that they shouldn't. These were easily cleared with a small common plunger. Try that with a standad head.
