Speed under power

Hi Folks
Replaced my 9.9s with high thrust 8s on my 32 PDQ. Never had the 9.9s long enough to find out speed under power.
What speed can they do in no wind -flat water?

With the 8s we hit 7 kts

The 9.9 s will get you up to 8 but flat out gets very noisy so I rarely exceed 7.
